Human in the Loop
A workflow in which a person reviews, approves, corrects, or escalates an AI system's work.
Human in the loop describes a control pattern where a person remains responsible for a defined review or decision point. Effective human review requires enough time, authority, information, and skill to detect problems rather than merely confirming the system's output.
